Product philosophy
Your mind should create ideas, not carry every task.
Holding every pending responsibility in memory increases mental load and makes the next decision harder. DYD247 gives each thought a place to land, a shape to take and a moment to be done.
Capture
Record the thought the moment it appears, before it turns into pressure.
Clarify
Turn a rough title into a defined action with notes, timing and GTD fields.
Organize
Place work into folders, contexts, projects and goals so it stays findable.
Focus
Work one task at a time with a timer instead of re-planning all day.
“Your mind is for having ideas, not holding them.”The app’s About screen also reflects the Bhagavad Gita 2.47 thought of focusing on the action rather than attachment to its result.
Dashboard experience
Your day, clear at a glance.
The Dashboard is the central productivity overview: a time-based greeting, two distinct capture paths, daily statistics and direct access to every work area.

Time-based greeting
The day opens with a simple orientation, such as “Good Afternoon”, before any list appears.
Quick Add entry point
A dedicated fast-capture path for the moment an idea arrives.
Add Task input
A separate quick-capture field sits below Quick Add for typing a title straight into the day.
Three daily cards
Today’s Tasks, Completed and Today’s Completion Percentage keep progress visible.
Smart Lists, GTD Spaces, Hotlist and tools
Every major work area is one tap away, with Hotlist reachable separately from the core lists.
Capture to clarity
Capture first. Organize when you are ready.
Two distinct capture paths — the Dashboard Add Task input and the dedicated Quick Add screen — both create the task immediately and open Task Detail for the rest.
Enter the title
Type the task in the Dashboard capture field or open Quick Add.
Create the task
Submit with Add or Enter. The task exists before the detail is decided.
Task Detail opens
Both capture paths lead into the Task Detail workspace.
Add timing and GTD fields
Notes, due date, due time, reminder, repeat and organization fields.
Focus and complete
Start Focus for concentrated work, then mark the task complete.

Smart task views
The right tasks appear in the right view.
Five core Smart Lists cover the daily rhythm. Hotlist sits outside this group as an additional priority view.
My Day
Today’s task count, today’s list, an Add Task input, GTD Filters, selection and bulk actions.
Important
Every task carrying the star, gathered from any date, project or context.
Inbox
Pending and open tasks that still need action. Completed and cancelled work does not appear here.
All Tasks
A consolidated view to review, filter, select, complete, star and open any available task.
Completed
A visible record of finished work, with the option to reopen a task when needed.
Hotlist — separate view
An additional priority view for highly important or urgent work. It is not one of the five core Smart Lists.
GTD organization
Give every task a clear place and purpose.
Task Detail carries the timing fields — due date, due time, reminder and repeat — alongside the GTD fields that decide where the work belongs.
Status
The current working stage, such as Next Action, Waiting, Hold or Someday.
Priority
Custom importance levels with their own labels and colors.
Folder
Broad categories that keep personal and professional areas apart.
Context
The situation, place, tool or condition a task needs — Home, Office, Call, Online.
Project
A larger outcome that several related tasks belong to.
Goal
The longer-term objective a day-to-day action contributes toward.
Tags
Flexible, color-coded labels for identification and filtering.
Plan beyond tasks
Plan the next action and the bigger picture.
GTD Spaces hold the structures around your tasks, so a single action always has a home and a reason.
Projects
Group related tasks around one larger outcome, then open a project to see its work.
Checklists
Break a bigger activity into smaller, trackable items and follow the next small step.
Folders
Add, view, edit and remove broad categories for different areas of life and work.
Contexts
Colour-coded conditions that help you pick work possible in your current situation.
Habits
Track repeated routines with a streak indicator, separate from one-off tasks.
Goals
Connect daily activity with broader objectives, linked from Task Detail.
Focus and find
Focus deeply. Find anything quickly.
Focus Mode separates execution from planning. Hotlist and Search support it by keeping urgent and specific work within reach.

About and FAQ
Built around one idea: do your duty, 24/7.
DYD247 is a GTD-inspired productivity system that helps you capture tasks quickly, organize work clearly, focus on what matters and convert ideas into action — with less mental clutter and more clarity.
The story
Tasks should not remain trapped in the mind. Capture a task from the Dashboard or Quick Add, enrich it in Task Detail, review it through Smart Lists, connect it to projects, contexts, habits and goals, then work it through Focus Mode until it is complete.
Version information and version history are shown inside the application’s About screen.
Stop holding tasks in your mind. Start turning them into action.
Capture, organize, plan, focus, complete and review — one connected productivity system.
